A geeky high school student is bitten by a genetically enhanced spider and gains superhero powers that mimic the strengths of a spider. Now, Peter Parker can climb walls and spin spiderwebs, but he still longs for the love of his neighbor Mary Jane. When the city comes under fire of the tyrannical Green Goblin, Spider-Man comes to the rescue and the legend is born.
