Oscar Winning Director George Roy Hill Dies

George Roy Hill, one of the greatest American directors, died today in New York from complications due to Parkinson's disease. He was 81.
Hill was a good friend of Paul Newman's and won his Oscar for directing Robert Redford and him in 1973's The Sting. He also directed The World According To Garp, Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid and the raucous cult favorite Slap Shot.
