'Sin City 2' trailer will mess you up big time

I hope you're sitting down when you click play on the trailer below. If not, the awesomeness that will spew forth is liable to knock you on your backside.

Yes, that is how amazingly cool the first teaser trailer is for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

The first words that came to my mind after experiencing this trailer were the immortal words from Jay in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

And that wasn't solely from seeing Jessica Alba reprise her gyrating role on the stripper stage. No, most of it came from the coolness that oozed from every frame of the trailer. Don't get me wrong, I loved the original Sin City, but I think adding Powers Boothe, JGL, Josh Brolin and many others will only make this film kick some serious butt later this year.

I really enjoyed the first film, but I'll be honest, I was sort of caught up in the stylistic decisions more than the film itself. Of course, I'm easy though because I'm a sucker for hard-boiled and noir. What do you think?

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is due in theaters on August 22.
