The Quentin Files

Where has Quentin Tarantino gone? This is the question that has lingered in film circles for the last four years, as the promising young director has gone from "red hot property" to "never heard from again." Save for a quick cameo in Little Nicky as a blind preacher, Tarantino has not been involved in a film project since his movie, Jackie Brown, wrapped in late 1996. This inactivity has led many to wonder just what has Quentin been up to?

Well, fear not, we've got the latest scoop. It looks like his drought is over, as he's got two, that's right two, projects on his plate. First up is a World War 2 epic titled "Glorious Bastards" that he's been mum about, but insiders say it's not so different from that other recent World War II movie that started on the beaches of Normandy.

The other project, more in line with his built-in fan base, is a prequel to his monster hits Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction that chronicles the brothers that played lead roles in each movie. "The Vega Brothers" will feature both John Travolta and Michael Madsen reprising their roles from the original movies. No word yet if Tarantino will reprise his role as the neurotic Jimmie from Pulp or the mysterious Mr. Brown from Reservoir.
